School in the zone

An initiative that has introduced 20mph speed zones outside every school in Neath and Port Talbot has been praised by the Welsh Assembly. The county is the only local authority in Wales to bring in blanket cover. Pupils were encouraged to take part in the scheme, led by the county's road safety team, by coming up with ideas for new speed signs.
