Schools join Olympic bid

Schools should use assemblies to promote the Olympic ideals in sport and support London's bid for the 2012 Olympics, they were told this week.

Sebastian Coe, double Olympic gold medal winner and vice-chair of London's bid, visited Stepney Green school, in Tower Hamlets, east London, to launch an assembly pack for schools.
