A survey conducted by the Dundee Science Centre, Sensation, shows more than three-quarters of visitors were ready to change their lifestyle after being educated about climate change.
The data, collected during the centre's summer exhibition, Vanishing Ice, also shows 88 per cent of visitors thought that changes had to be made in sources of energy to stop climate change. And half believe we need to scrap fossil fuels in favour of renewable energy sources (above).
Alan Martin, Sensation's marketing manager, said: "With Vanishing Ice, we wanted to raise awareness of climate change and what we can do about it if we act now. Visitor feedback from the shows reveals that the exhibition has been extremely successful in this regard."
