Jeopardy - a game for review or revision

What is it?

An educational quiz template based on the quiz show Jeopardy. This is a quiz with a twist: contestants are provided with the answers from the outset. But what are the right questions? There are several examples of the game on TES Resources. Try Natashafox85's.

How to use it

Split your class into two or more teams. Each is presented with six categories, each with five questions with values from 100 to 500. Each team selects the category and value of a question to answer, gaining the points if correct, otherwise the question passes to another team. The game can be used for revision or review, but also to help students appreciate that exam questions have different levels of challenge. For example, for A-level photosynthesis, the 100-scoring questions could be factual recall, such as "name three products of the light-dependent stage of photosynthesis".

The resource can be adapted for any topic in any subject.
