THE coroner at the inquest into the death of 10-year-old Jonathan Atwell, who fell 600ft to his death on Mount Snowdon, delivered a verdict of accidental death. But Dewi Pritchard Jonessaid he had been close to delivering a verdict of unlawful killing because of gross negligence on the part of two Scout leaders who failed to supervise their group properly.
