Screen life-saver

Channel 4's Teachers series returns to our screens next Wednesday. Some teachers hate it for its lack of realism but, as one laconic contributor to the TES website's forum made clear, it will bring much-needed light relief to many staffrooms: "The last series started a staff craze among some at my school for going to the pub after work. They stopped a week or so after the series ended." Scary.
