A Strong Castle in Purbeck is a new interactive exhibition at the National Trust's Castle View visitor centre, sited in an old chalk quarry near Corfe Castle. Designed to complement a visit to the castle, the exhibition looks at the Isle of Purbeck and the history of the castle and provides information about conservation work being carried out today. There are a wide variety of "hands on" displays, including the opportunity to dress as a 17th-century soldier. Entry to Castle View is free, group and family discounts available for entry to Corfe Castle. Open daily. Tel: Tim Phillimore 01929 480609 for further details.
