Sir Neil Chalmers

Sir Neil Chalmers, director of the Natural History Museum since 1988, has been elected to the Wardenship of Wadham College, Oxford, to succeed John Flemming who retires in July 2004 after 10 years in the post.

Sir Neil was educated at King's College school, Wimbledon, Magdalen College, Oxford and St John's College, Cambridge.
