(Photograph) - Six-year-old Joseph O'Neill, a pupil at Kelvinhaugh primary in Glasgow, has won pound;1,500 for a photograph of his pal Christopher sunbathing in the playground. The competition, run by the Scottish cultural database SCRAN, invited Scots to submit views of their country at the turn of the millennium. Joseph's winning entry beat 200 from across Scotland.
