As schools return for the new session, we review Brian Wilson's first three months as Education Minister and the impact on schools.

John Travers, president of the Association of Directors of Education.

It must be tempting for any new minister to introduce a range of headline-grabbing initiatives. Our overall impression: an excellent start and a welcome return to a partnership approach with local authorities.
