I was revising circle theorems with my Year 11 class and asked if anyone knew what a cyclic quadrilateral was. "A shape that knows what you're thinking," was one reply.


After a heads' discussion on the merits of beacon schools, one said sourly:

"I'm going to start my own scheme, the Porcine Reward for All Talented Schools scheme. The emblem will be a flying pig and the motto, 'We bring home the bacon'."
