Special needs protest

MPs Julie Kirkbride and Claire Curtis-Thomas have joined a parents' group calling for funding to be reinstated at a residential college in Wales for people with special needs. The Learning and Skills Council faces a judicial review over its decision to terminate its contract with Coleg Elidyr over quality concerns without, parents say, offering a suitable alternative.
