Special school praised

OAKGROVE School in Cheadle, Stockport, has gained a glowing Office for Standards in Education report - just two years after it opened as a primary school for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The inspectors say pupils entering the school are well behind their peers in mainstream school, but by the age of 11 the majority have caught up with them.
