More than half of children think extended school services are great. Sports and arts activities were popular with 60 per cent of 6,600 11-16 year olds polled by the Training and Development. Breakfast clubs were among the least popular with around half of pupils never attending. Homework clubs also struggled to inspire many children beyond Year 7.
