30th May 1997 at 01:00
Brian Wilson is expected to confirm tomorrow (Saturday) that school sport is to receive windfall funding from the National Lottery. Previous estimates by the Scottish Sports Council suggest schools north of the border could be in line for Pounds 3 million out of a total of Pounds 30 million.

Mr Wilson will be speaking at a conference in Edinburgh organised by Scottish School Sport, the umbrella organisation for school sports associations.
