SQA course for USA

27th November 2009 at 00:00

A "green energy" qualification developed by the Scottish Qualifications Authority is on the verge of being adopted throughout the United States. The Skills for Work course in energy was spotted by education visitors from San Jose in California who asked for it to be adapted for use there. It has now become part of an Innovation in Education Bill and taken by a Californian congressman to the US House of Representatives, which has approved it. The US Senate will consider it next month.
