The talents of one novice Daily Mail reporter are currently entertaining the Department for Education and Employment press office.

"Hello? I'd like a quote from Theresa May," barked the hack.

Baffled, but ever-elpful, the press officer suggests that the best place to contact the Opposition education spokesman might be via Conservative Central Office. The intrepid reporter's final question: "Can't you do it for me?"
