Perth Youth Theatre is introducing a Young Playwrights Scheme for budding scriptwriters who want to work with a leading playwright and see their own original work performed. The theatre is also increasing its age limit to 25 this year to allow more young people to take part in theatre and the arts.

The moves have been made possible by increased funding from Perth and Kinross Council.
