STAR Awards cutbacks

9th July 2010 at 01:00

The deadline for entries to this year's STAR Awards passed today as organiser the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) announced a scaling down of the event. Having suffered a pound;50 million cut to its budget, LSIS has had to revise its plans to hold the awards ceremony on November 24 at the Ultimate Experience venue in the Royal Hospital Gardens, Chelsea. It is considering holding a smaller event. Details will be announced later.
