What has been the best arts company to visit your school in the past year? Scottish Opera for All

How did you hear about them? They contacted the school

What did they do? Two workshops on Die Fledermaus - one day for Higher pupils, another day for Standard grade

Did you do any preparation beforehand? We studied some background information on the composer and plot.

Any follow-up work? Yes, we visited the Edinburgh Festival Theatre to see Scottish Opera's performance of Die Fledermaus How long did they stay? Two days.

How much did they cost? It was free.

What was so good about them? Their energy and enthusiasm. They gave us good notes and had an excellent pianist. The benefits of the workshops will last. The pupils learned a lot and had lots of fun.
