Stereophonics, not stereotypes

(Photograph) - KELLY Jones, lead singer of Welsh band Stereophonics, may be the acceptable face of Cool Cymru after Estyn, the Welsh inspectorate, declared war on dragons, daffodils and sheep. It is calling for an end to 'stereotypical' Welsh school displays. A National Assembly of Wales spokesman said: "Wales is not all about choirs and sheep. Music is a large part of Welsh culture and we now have the Stereophonics and Catatonia so we should celebrate that." Story, 2
