Storage solutions

21st March 2003 at 00:00
The exponential growth of information exchange via networks, emails, internet downloads and digital video means that it's not just businesses that have to deal urgently with the problem of storage. IT co-ordinators who want to alert students to the issues of file sharing and the location of critical data might usefully display a poster from Viglen. Anatomy of Network Storage illustrates the functions of the company's own VigStor file-server. It illustrates how the most important capital asset of many organisations - access to data - needs to feature as part of an intelligent plan. Other free posters covering internet, broadband and networks are also available free from the website.
