Strategy's new leader

Paul Wagstaff, a former primary head, has been appointed as the new director of the national primary strategy. He takes over from Kevan Collins, who has left to become the director of children's services in the London borough of Tower Hamlets. Mr Wagstaff, now a senior manager in Ofsted's curriculum dissemination division, leading on primary and foundation stage issues, will join Capita, which runs the strategies, in January.
