Primary and secondary pupils will produce a series of radio and video reports from the Glastonbury Festival next weekend. The website Radiowaves, which many schools use to upload podcasts and videos, will assist pupils with their reports.
Some secondary pupils will interview performers, who include Amy Winehouse, Shakin' Stevens, Kings of Leon and Manu Chao.
There will also be a drop-in booth allowing pupils to record their views on the festival, which has been the subject of controversy since it emerged that US rapper Jay-Z would be headlining.
Organisers hope to use the pupil reports in an "online narrative" at www.radiowaves.co.uk
