Study pack on the Tudors

8th September 2000 at 01:00
The Tudor monarchs came to power by force of battle and maintained their sovereignty by war, so it's appropriate that a new study pack on their era should come from the Royal Armouries Museum's education centre. It is designed for the new national curriculum and comes with a completed planning grid in the QCA format. There is a fine array of contemporary illustrations, dominated by a magnifcent colour poster of Holbein's glowering King Hal (below). These are supplemented by sets of notes, question sheets, inventories, playscripts - a very palpable introduction to a cruel and sumptuous age.

The Tudor Resource Pack (pound;11.60 inc pamp;p) is available from the Royal Armouries Education Centre, Armouries Drive, Leeds LS10 1LT. Tel: 0113 220 1888. Fax: 0113 220 1889
