Studying the night sky

A Bristol teacher and keen amateur stargazer has turned a hobby into an exam resource. The Edexcel GCSE astronomy course is supported largely by text-based resources. Frank Ward, head of IT at John Cabot CTC in Kingswood, Bristol, has designed and built a one-stop astronomy site, which is a full study resource and guide that covers the GCSE specification. The site boasts more than 500 pages and images and 100 animations and videos. www.gcseastronomy.co.uk
