Time for tee


As the world's top golfers teed up for the Open Championship at Royal St George's, pupils from Kyle Academy celebrated their success in the inaugural Provost's Trophy in South Ayrshire. More than 30 pupils from local secondaries competed for the best scratch score and the best handicap score, but three Kyle pupils took the top three places.

Inspire Me

Learning disability

A project to support 20,000 young people with learning disabilities across the UK has been set up by Enable Scotland and Mencap, funded by the Co- operative Charity of the Year. Inspire Me will provide training for 16 to 25-year-olds to learn skills and build confidence. Workshops will include managing money, goal setting and citizenship.
