Digital dragons

Four Glasgow secondary schools are competing in a new hi-tech challenge. Pupils from St Paul's, Castlemilk, Lochend and St Mungo's will battle to create a digital or e-commerce product or service. The Digital Dragons competition was launched last Friday by digital agency Spider Online, supported by Glasgow City Council.

Write for rights

A schools' writing competition aimed at highlighting human rights abuses has been launched. Upper primary, lower secondary, upper secondary and sixth-form pupils can enter Amnesty International's Young Human Rights Reporter of the Year competition 2012.
