Subscriber of the week - Christine Sinclair

Where do you live?

Kirkwall, Orkney

What do you do?

Primary teacher

How long have you subscribed?

Over two years

Why did you start?

To be better informed about current issues; there's also good coverage of best practice throughout Scotland. I'd always glanced at it in the staffroom, but never had time to read articles in depth.

Who reads your copy?

Me and my husband - who's not a teacher.

What do you read first?

I always find the lead story interesting, and most of the news section. I particularly like the week in education ("This Week"), for a useful snapshot of what's been happening.

What's the best thing we've done?

Coverage of the Donaldson Review, pension changes, etc. I find all these headline articles interesting and informative.
