Why did you start?

I was seconded by SQA as a development manager (revising Higher and Advanced Higher biology) and realised how essential it was to read TESS.

Who reads your copy?

My daughters get to it first. Don't recall reading my mum's copy at their age!

What do you read first?

Pupil artwork and interviews on back pages, then the main articles.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

Diane Ebert-May on teaching science using scientific papers. Johan Bollen on mapping knowledge.

What's the best thing we've done?

Change to a magazine format.

What would you be excited to see on the front page?
