30 years plus.

Why did you start?

It was the only way of getting in-depth information on Scottish education and for job adverts.

What do you read first?

The TESS Interview and then the sports results.

What should there be more of in TESS?

An article in the style of a "for and against" professional debate on a topical issue.

Who would you like to see writing in TESS?

More of Brian Boyd (no relation).

What's the best thing we've done?

Changing to the magazine format - and keeping the issue of the lack of jobs for NQTs to the fore.

What would you be excited to see on the front page?

Scottish teachers' unions merge into one.

What is TESS?

A Saturday morning, reading TESS and having a roll and square sausage. Part of my five a day.
