Suggestion that heads should be referred to as principals

* The suggestion from the Association of School and College Leaders that heads should be referred to as principals deserves consideration, if only because it might allow parents and other interested parties to distinguish between those school leaders with appropriate qualifications and experience (ie headteachers) and those who do not (ie principals).
