Summer dance diary

The National Dance Teachers' Association and the British Association of Advisers and Lecturers in Physical Education are running a Day of Dance at the University of Warwick on July 12 (01823 349316).

Laban Centre International Summer School, from July 21-August 1, offers five programmes, including contemporary, youth dance, dance movement therapy, research methodology (0181 692 4070).

The Dance and the Child international conference, to be held in Finland from July 26-August 3, has the theme, "The call of forests and lakes" (Finnish ITI, Teatterikuluma, Meritullinkatu 33, 00170 Helsinki 17).

The National Resource Centre of Dance is holding a summer school for dance teachers at the University of Surrey, Guildford, July 28-August 1 (01483 259316).

The Video Place's Spring Reloaded 3 features dance performances on video, including Bi Mah, Yolande Snaith and Motionhouse, plus interviews with the choreographers. Preview tape for all three seasons Pounds 7.50 (0171 383 0516).
