The troubled Cademuir International School in Dumfries and Galloway has not had it easy of late, what with HMI contentiously denouncing its care standards. Now it is having problems replacing the outgoing founder principal Robert Mulvey.

The first candidate had to withdraw because of ill health. The new man temporarily holding up the fort? A Mr Propp.
