The Royal Bank Scottish Schools Swimming Championships will be held at Tollcross Pool in Glasgow on January 27, breaking a long association with Edinburgh's Royal Commonwealth Pool.

With 10 lanes, 20 swimmers in each age group - compared to 16 that can be accommodatd in Edinburgh - will compete.

The annual schools' swimming international against England, Ireland and Wales will be held on March 24 in Wrexham. Competition results from September to the end of January will be considered before Scotland's team is named.
