Scotland won a silver medal in the boys' team event at the British Primary Schools Table Tennis Championships at Largs earlier this month, behind England, and Liam O'Shaughnessey (Castle Douglas Primary) won an individual bronze after losing 3-2 in the semi-finals to England's Jack Cleminson.

Table Tennis Scotland is running a coaching clinic at Drumchapel sports centre this weekend for teachers and parents who are keen to introduce the game to beginners.
