Tales from chalkface on Radio 4

RADIO Four is to run a series of 15-minute programmes where teachers describe an episode in their professional lives that encapsulates what they enjoy about their jobs. Chalkface Lovesongs will run in the new year. Successful contributors will record their own piece, and be paid. Applications should go to Beatrice Rubens, Room 7052, Broadcasting House, London, W1A 1AA. Entries should be 1,200 words and the deadline is January 6.
