Teacher sacked for Hitler remarks

A US teacher has been sacked after allegedly telling his class of 13-year-olds that Hitler was "cool".

The unnamed teacher, from the J Henry Higgins middle school in Boston, claimedhe had only been kidding, that he meant Hitler was dead and therefore cold and buried. School superintendent Louis Perullo said: "We tried to react as forcefully as we could."
