Teacher tests pile on the paperwork;Letter

I am amazed that there hasn't been more discussion about the tests for primary teachers despite your coverage (TES, April 10).

The Department for Education and Employment promises less paperwork and the Teacher Training Agency offers more.

Do these departments ever talk to each other? Recruitment crisis? Is it any wonder?
