Teachers asked to draw out 'tagger'

3rd September 2010 at 01:00

Police are asking teachers to check their pupils' exercise books in a bid to catch a graffiti artist. Officers have asked staff at Hazel Grove High, Offerton and Stockport schools in Stockport to search children's books for a "tag" that has been daubed around the local area. Inspector Brendan O'Brien said: "Our experience tells us that if people are doing this they could be scribbling their own tag on school books."
