Techfest north of the border

Aberdeen plays host to a Techfest until September 17. The programme includes:

visits to schools by the Floating Point Science Theatre, the art and science of Scotch whisky, the Engineering Council Schools' Challenge, the Michael Faraday All Electric Road Show, and a display in the Trinity Shopping Centre entitled "Our Planets" at which Magnus Magnusson will present the CREST (CREativity in Science and Technology) awards. The Aberdeen Satrosphere, Scotland's only hands-on science centre, will be located at the Bon Accord Shopping Centre all week, and at Duthie Park for a family fun weekend.
