Is Ted sitting on the evidence?

I NOTE with interest Ted Wragg's assertion (TES, November 22) that "teachers themselves are notorious sufferers from haemorrhoids" citing uncomfortable wooden chairs as part of the problem. Will the unions now pursue claims for industrial injury on their members' behalf? Can Ted provide us with the source of his research?
