Teenage perils

10th August 2007 at 01:00
A leaflet warning classmates of the dangers of alcohol use, smoking, obesity and teenage pregnancy has been compiled by 12 pupils between the ages of 11 to 18. The four-page leaflet, produced by the Association of Public Health Observatories and the National Children's Bureau, will be distributed to every secondary in the country.

The half-page devoted to road safety says that three in 10 deaths among 15 to 19 year olds is caused by traffic accidents.
