Tell HMI where to put targets;Jotter

The Government's attainment targets, as we know, are designed to carry schools forward three years. Alas, some schools will not be around long enough. Especially those secondaries in Glasgow which are the victims of the purge carried out by the city fathers and mothers.

This has not, however, stopped the zealots of the HMI audit unit pursuing the hapless schools to tell them their targets for their year zero. It is believed the schools may be the first in Scotland to tell HMI where it should put its targets. Shameful.
