TES gives away 101 computers

25th May 2001 at 01:00
Following the flood of protests from readers disappointed by the Department for Education and Employment's half-price Computers for Teachers scheme, The TES has decided to give away 101 laptops completely free.

Next week's paper will carry details of how to apply for one of these brand new machines.

We know how essential good presentation and ready access to pupil records, email, and the Intrnet are to teachers.

So in our biggest-ever reader offer, everyone who applies for one of the 101 laptops will receive a free copy of a new TES book with 101 IT ideas for teachers.

This specially-written advice from TES writers will show how to use computers to cut your workload and enhance your teaching.

For full details on how to apply for your laptop, see next week's TES.
