TES Schools Awards - In it to win it

12th June 2009 at 01:00

Teamwork and excellence in education were celebrated on Tuesday when the winners of the inaugural TES Schools Awards were presented with their trophies at a glittering ceremony at the London Hilton Hotel hosted by impressionist Rory Bremner. After a champagne reception, those who had triumphed in the 15 categories, ranging from Outstanding Personalised Learning Initiative to Best School Dinners and Primary and Secondary Schools of the Year, went on stage to collect their awards to the applause of the hundreds of guests gathered in the Hilton ballroom. TES editor Gerard Kelly congratulated all those who had been shortlisted on the outstandingly high calibre of their work.
