Tests regraded

The English tests of 20,000 14-year-olds have been regraded after appeals. Most have been given better marks. The School Curriculum and Assessment Authority said 18 per cent of all English papers returned were given a new grade. It means that nearly 3 per cent of all key stage 3 English papers were regraded.
