Thank you for the music

EMI music group announced this week that it has awarded more than pound;2 million to British schools, enabling 25 secondaries to achieve specialist arts status.

Since it was established in 1997, the EMI Music Sound Foundation education charity has become the most prolific sponsor of specialist performing arts schools in Britain. It also supports music teachers in schools and offers bursaries for individual music students.
