Thanks for giving

Giving Nation is an independent youth initiative that encourages young people to take an active interest in charity. Following the Asian tsunami disaster, it has created lesson plans supporting citizenship studies at key stages 3 and 4 that can be downloaded free from its website. The lessons illustrate to pupils the huge charitable response made by the world following the disaster. There are statistics and web links to news sites to encourage pupils to discuss the public response.

Lesson plans are available in Word, PowerPoint and Pdf.
