An exhibition of restored 18th century longcase clocks made by the Voyce family has opened at the Dean Heritage Centre, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Seven have 30 hour and two have eight-day movements. The exhibition tells the history of timekeeping, explains how mechanical clocks work and provides activities for young children.
